Church Ministries

One of the common mistakes people make about church is thinking that it’s primarily a building or an organization or a place to go. But the Scripture makes it clear that the church is a community of people. At PFMC, we don’t just go to church – we are the church. As the church, we serve Jesus by serving others. PFMC has a variety of ways to serve both in and through our church. Here are some of the service opportunities at PFMC. If you would like to learn more about or want to serve in any of these ministry areas, go to our contact page and let us know!
Nursing Home Ministry – This team of PFMC and community volunteers serve Pendleton’s Assisted Living and Nursing Home residents.

Partnering with Others

At PFMC, we recognize that there are other groups and agencies in our city that are also serving those in need and doing good. Some are Christian, others not, but we believe it makes sense to serve God by partnering with others in our community for the common good. We support the following ministries by providing volunteers or giving financial support or both.
